Butterfly Palace Field Trip

This month’s co-op field trip was to the Butterfly Palace in Branson. It is really beautiful and this time of year they have white butterflies, which are just gorgeous! Here are some pictures of our adventure 🙂

This was during the 3d movie of the life cycle of butterflies 🙂

The tour guide was telling the kids how to release the butterflies out of the cups into the habitat.

Little Man was afraid of the butterflies landing on him but soon got over it and enjoyed the tour.

Releasing the butterfly into the rainforest.

So pretty!

This is a living statue. She would move every so often and the kids really enjoyed watching her and how still she could be! Amazing!!

So pretty!

Never knew there were so many!

Grandma was able to come with us this time and she had a great time!

The budgie cord jungle! lol.

A projector was projecting a “lake” down on the floor and the image “puddled” every time the kids stepped in it. Very cool!

They also had a reptile exhibit.

Really cool how they can hold themselves on the smooth glass!

All the kids related the chameleon
to the movie Tangled, Pascal was the chameleon’s name in the movie.

One of the tour guides gave the kids a lesson on reptiles and then let the kids pet a skink.

The mirror maze with Nana!

This field trip was so much fun!

  1. What a cool place! We have only been to one butterfly exhibit, but it was not anything like this. My kids would love seeing butterflies up close. Sounds like a great place for families to visit.

  2. Aww I love anything with butterflies. The last time we took the kids to a butterfly exhibit they were not to happy with the butterflies flying around them. So we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I wanted. You guys looked like you had a great time.
